Our State Certified Unit…

AristaCare at Whiting provides everything necessary and more for their Alzheimers /Dementia residents, including a beautifully renovated and custom designed unit, specialty tailored cognitive rehabilitation, and targeted therapeutic recreation activities. Our nursing and rehab staff are all certified and specially trained to deal with Alzheimers disease in particular, as well as dementia as a whole. AristaCare at Whiting offers a warm, loving, and caring customized environment for your loved one. It is a state-certified unit, and is completely secured, as is our outdoor courtyard area.

Nostalgia Park's decor has been designed with the Alzheimers/Dementia resident in mind. The murals that adorn the hallway walls are more than just works of art. From beach images to carnival playgrounds, the scenes not only enhance the beauty of the Alzheimers/Dementia unit, but help residents once again relate to and recall fond memories of these environments. An actual strip of boardwalk has even been installed to make the shore theme as realistic as possible.
