In
January, AristaCare assembled a dynamic executive culinary
team to take over their food service department. They paired
a five-star chef with 30+yrs of culinary expertise, and a
five-star dietitian with 17+yrs experience, to take dining
to a whole new & exciting level! First, AristaCare upgraded
all facets of their patient care, then they completely
renovated the building inside and out, then they upgraded
the entire food service program and rolled out a fantastic,
salacious, new menu with many upscale choices. It is the
talk of the community...and AristaCare has been receiving
positive comments from patients, families, doctors, staff,
etc. since the new team took over
Executive Chef Tony Wallace and registered dietician
Maria Bongiovanni prepared “Valentine’s Day Taste Testings”
for all to enjoy on Feb 10 & 11 as a way for the community,
family members, and previous patients to sample dishes from
the new menus.
AristaCare
places a lot of importance on food services. They go out of
their way to ensure that their patients and residents are
completely satisfied with the quality of the food served so
it is likened to a homecooked meal or to a meal ordered in a
good restaurant. A lavish buffet was offered to include a
great variety of food which suited every taste. For example
there was a Pasta Station offering different pasta sauces:
Vodka, Alfredo, etc. all prepared by Tony along with
individual pans of chicken Francaise, chicken Marsala,
shrimp Scampi, pork Teriyaki, eggplant Parmesan, sausage and
peppers, etc.
Over 150 people attended and everyone was more than
pleased.
